Kiersten White will be speaking and signing books at the Provo City Library on August 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Library Ballroom. Tickets are free and may be picked up at the 1st floor Reference Desk.
A super solid second in the series book. Evie is still the kick butt heroine we met in Paranormalcy with some new challenges. (read: girls gym) She is doing her best to live a normal life with nothing normal about her.(read: boring) She is of course working at a diner full of paranormals (read: trolls, tree-people, vampires) and has a waterish hunk for a boyfriend. How normal can life be? Her adventures begin when she is sucked back into the world of IPCA, and begins working for them again- behind the backs of those she loves. Evie learns that keeping secrets and telling lies is never the answer. Lend is amazingly sweet and caring. (read: patient) The world of faerie is back with a vengeance. We learn more about Reth and have a new character named Jack. I wanted to throttle and kiss him, sometimes on the same page. He can really give Evie a run for funniest character. Fun, sassy, story with an intense plot and action. I lovvved the faerie doors and paths. Can't wait for book 3!
