Bree, Bree, Bree. What were you thinking?!?!?
I really wanted to love this book. I did. It started out right where The Dark Divine left off and had me going strong right from the start. Then, the dreaded second-of-a-series-curse stepped into play. Things go awry and characters we love start making stupid choices. Stupid. Stupid. Choices. By midway in the book I had to put it down and pull out a light fluffy read to lessen my anxiety...Okay, I'm talking about only an hour or so, then right back to turmoil. When I meet Bree I am sure I will grab her by the shoulders and shake her...
"What were you thinking"?!?!?!!!!
"Oh,.. you really got me on that one"!!!
" I quite possibly love you" :)
Yes, she is that brilliant. I loved the old characters. (even when I wanted to slap them) I could gush about the new characters. (Talbot= yum) I think the cliffhanger ending is simply genius. Painful, yet genius. The last thing I will say to her is,.."why are you sitting here at a book signing Bree? Don't you have some writing to do"?!?!??!
