Hoping to escape the troubles in her kingdom, Princess Poppy reluctantly agrees to take part in a royal exchange program, whereby young princes and princesses travel to each other's countries in the name of better political alliances—and potential marriages. It's got the makings of a fairy tale—until a hapless servant named Eleanor is tricked by a vengeful fairy godmother into competing with Poppy for the eligible prince. Ballgowns, cinders, and enchanted glass slippers fly in this romantic and action-packed happily-ever-after quest from an author with a flair for embroidering tales in her own delightful way.

I cant' wait to read this! Jessica's books are all fabulous and I'm excited to see Poppy again and follow her story.
I can't wait! I totally love her other books. She is such a wonderful story teller.
I loved all of her YA books. Dragon Slippers is the best! I can't wait to get my hands on this book!
I just finished reading this book today! It was a really fun read. It is sort of a retelling of the Cinderella story. I liked the fact that the sequel included another retold fairy-tale, as the first one was a retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. It will be interesting to see if she does another sequel to this one.
Delightful! I really enjoyed this take on a well known fairytale. I thought the carry over of a few characters from Princess of the Midnight Ball was clever.
I'd recommend this to anyone who likes fairy tales or fantasy.
Darling retelling of Cinderella. I didn't know how Jessica would pull this one off- I mean how many twist and turns could Cinderella have? Plenty. I loved revisiting Poppy again and following her spunky character to a foreign land. She is not the perfect princess, but she IS the perfect girl. All of the characters had well defined personalities and they seemed to jump off the pages. Christian fainting? Hysterical! The supporting characters were each well written and I loved them all.
